A Corten roof is only as good as the system behind it. CortenUSA supplies the complete accessory package engineered specifically for weathering steel panel installations — because mismatched hardware undermines everything the material was designed to do.

Every accessory we carry is selected for compatibility with A606 Type 4 steel and the panel profiles we serve: Corrugated, Gulf Coast, PBR, Soffit, and Standing Seam. Nothing generic. Nothing that will compromise the patina, the seal, or the long-term performance of the roof assembly.

What We Supply

Fasteners

#10 WOOD-X T17 Corten-compatible screws for exposed fastener panels. #14 MASTERGRIP stainless painted for repair and replacement. #10 stainless pancake head for Standing Seam clip-to-deck applications. Every fastener is matched to the panel it serves.

Foam Closures

Die-cut open-cell and closed-cell foam closures in 7/8″, 3/4″, and 1/2″ corrugated profiles, plus vented ridge and non-venting eave closures for structural panels. The right closure at the right location is what keeps the assembly tight, ventilated where it needs to be, and sealed where it doesn’t.

Sealant

NovaFlex Pro silicone, color matched to Corten and weathering steel tones. Applied at lap joints, pipe penetrations, ridge caps, and trim conditions. Tack-free in 10 minutes. Built to outlast the roof it seals.

Pipe Flashing / Roof Boots

Silicone boots with a 35-year warranty, available in Gray, Red, and White. Sized to your pipe penetration. No improvising, no afterthoughts.

Snow Retention

Clamp-on systems for Standing Seam. Screw-down systems for exposed fastener panels. Specified to your roof pitch and square footage so the layout is right the first time.

Underlayment

High-temperature synthetic roofing underlayment. Required under Corten panels installed over a wood deck. Not optional, not an upgrade — part of a correctly assembled roof.

Rivets

300 series stainless #43 pop rivets in 60+ painted colors, matched to panel finish for panel stitching, lap joints, and gutter seams that disappear into the roof.

Nyalic Clear Coating

Lock the patina in place. Nyalic is a clear protective coating that seals the Corten surface at the stage you choose — pre-applied to coil or flat stock, or field-applied after installation — stopping active rust bleed onto adjacent surfaces, soffits, walls, and concrete below.
